Check your journey ahead of Event Day.
The Standard Chartered Great City Race returns to the City of London on Tuesday 22 July 2025.
Several roads in the area will be closed from 18:30 until 21:30. Bunhill Row will be closed from 17:00 until 21:30.
RACE ROUTE: Chiswell Street (Start), Beech Street, Aldersgate Street, Rotunda (Museum of London), St Martin’s Le Grand, Cheapside, New Change, King Street, Gresham Street, Wood Street, Love Lane, Basinghall Street, Lothbury, Bartholomew Lane, Threadneedle Street, Old Broad Street, London Wall (westbound), London Wall (eastbound), Moorgate, Finsbury Pavement, Finsbury Square, City Road (Finish).
You will spot yellow road closure signs displayed on affected roads in the lead-up to the event.
Police officers and stewards will be present on the day to help answer your queries and to ensure a safe and secure event.
