How do I enter the Bath Half?

The 2025 Bath Half is sold out. Entries for the 2026 Bath Half will open on Sunday 16 March 2025.  

 

Is there a minimum age for taking part?

Yes, participants in the Bath Half must be aged 17 or over on Event Day.  

Can I change my start time so I can run with a friend?

Yes, you are welcome to move back to a later starting wave. There is no need to tell us, you can just do this on the day. You cannot, however, move to an earlier starting wave. 

What happens if I am unable to take part? Can I defer/transfer/refund my entry?

No, we do not offer a deferral, transfer or refund option for your entry – please see our General Conditions of Entry for more details. 

How do I let you know if I need to update my details?

It's important we have up-to-date details for you. You can update your details via your entry confirmation email from Let's Do This. If you cannot find this, please contact us with your full name, date of birth and updated details. 

 

Will I receive a Participant Guide?

Yes, all participants will be emailed an official Participant Guide several weeks before Event Day. Your Participant Guide will include all the information you need to know before, during and after your event. 

When should I expect to receive my Event Pack in the post? 

If you live in the UK, you should receive your Event Pack by Friday 21 February. If you have not received your pack by this date, please fill out the Replacement Event Pack form, which will be available online from Tuesday 11 March and we’ll organise for a replacement pack to be sent to you. Please also check your contact details are accurate and up to date.  

Can my family come with me to the start?

Your family are welcome to travel with you to the start of the event, but they will not be able to enter the secure participant area with you, unless they are also taking part in the event.  

Can my family and friends track me at the event?

Family and friends can track you at the Bath Half via the official app, which will be available to download around 10 days before Event Day. 

What road closures are in place for the Bath Half?

Head to the road closures page for more information about the road closures and timings on Event Day.  

Can participants in a wheelchair or similar assistive device be pushed around the course? 

Yes, it is possible to push a wheelchair or similar assistive device around the Bath Half course. Please specify, when prompted during the online application process, that you will be taking part in a wheelchair or similar assistive device. 

How do I set up an online fundraising page? 

 You can set up a free online fundraising page with Enthuse – the official online fundraising partner of London Marathon Events. 

 

Does the Bath Half have a recommended training plan?

Yes, head to the start training page to find out more. 

 

Do you have a medal opt-out policy?

You can opt out of a medal at most of our events as part of the online entry system. All of our medals are made from recycled zinc alloy. The process, called zinc die-casting, is a more energy efficient manufacturing process compared to other metal die-casting processes, such as aluminium. We order medals in bulk to reduce freight movements (they are shipped by sea). Any leftover medals are recycled within the UK and the ribbons are recycled too.  

Are there pacers at the Bath Half? 

Yes, there will be pacers covering the following target finish times at the event from 1:30 to 3:00 hours (and times in between). More details about the pacers will be included in the Participant Guide, which will be emailed to participants several weeks before Event Day. 

Does the Bath Half offer hospitality?

No, hospitality tickets are not available to purchase for the Bath Half. 

What security measures do you have in place at the event?

We work closely with the Police and other organisations and have a range of measures in place to ensure your safety and security. These include our highly trained security personnel, random bag searches and city-centre CCTV, as well as other measures that may not be visible, to keep you safe. 

I would like to volunteer at the Bath Half. How can I find out more?

Can I transfer my entry to a friend?

No, entries cannot be transferred to someone else. Please see our General Conditions of Entry for more details. 

Can I take part with a Support Runner?

If you are visually impaired, or your disability or medical condition means you need a Support Runner, you can apply for a free place for them. Please contact us outlining your request and the reasons for it. If you would like a Support Runner, the Richard Whitehead Foundation Supported Runners Project in partnership with Nissan can pair you with someone for Event Day. Register your interest with the Richard Whitehead Foundation to find out more.  

 

I am taking part with a Support Runner; will they receive an official time and medal? 

Yes, as long as your Support Runner stays with you throughout the event, and you finish the event together, they will receive an official finish time and medal (if they opt to receive one when entering). 

Can someone else pick up my replacement pack? What does my nominated person need to pick up my pack?

Yes, your replacement pack can be picked up by a nominated person. Your nominated person needs to bring a copy/screenshot of your ID, your written consent and their own ID. 

What is the cut-off time to complete the Bath Half?

Everyone will have at least four and a half hours to complete the GetPRO Bath Half before the Finish Line closes at 16:00. If you’re unable to maintain a four-hour pace, but wish to continue, you’ll be able to move onto the pavement. Our team will walk with you and support you to the Finish Line.
 

Do you have accessible spectator areas at the Bath Half?

Yes, there will be accessible spectator areas at the event. More info will follow soon. 

Is there a bag-drop facility at the GetPRO Bath Half? 

Yes, bag-drop is available at the start of the GetPRO Bath Half. Please note: we can only accept one rucksack or small bag per participant.

Is there a Bath Half app?

Yes, you will be able to download the Bath Half app around 10 days before Event Day.  

Will the Bath Half be live on TV?

No, the Bath Half will not be live on TV.  

Is there a quiet space at the event?

Yes, there is a Sensory Calm Space, for anyone who wants to take a moment away from the crowds, a Parent and Child Space, and a Multi Faith Prayer Space that is open to all. These will be located in gazebos in the Finish Area.

 

Do you provide parking for participants with a disability?

 Please contact us with your request and we'll come back to you. 

My time is missing or incorrect – what should I do?

Please head to the results page and complete the results correction form to notify us of any changes you require. 

 

How do I view my photos from the event?

You can view your event photos by heading to the results page, finding your result, then clicking on the ‘Photos’ button.  

 

I lost an item during the event – how can I let you know about this?

Please fill out our lost property form and we’ll get back to you. 

 

How do I download my finisher’s certificate?

You can download your finisher’s certificate by heading to the results page, finding your result, then clicking on the certificate button. 

When do entries open for next year’s Bath Half?

Entries for next year’s Bath Half will open on Sunday 16 March 2025. 

I would like to log a formal complaint – how do I do this?

A formal complaint can be logged via email to [email protected] with the subject line 'formal complaint regarding EVENT' or via our contact us form, choosing the ‘feedback’ option. 

I opted out of a T-shirt and/or medal when I entered, but have changed my mind. Can I update my choice? 

You may update your choice until six weeks before the event via your entry confirmation email from Let's Do This or via your participant dashboard. After this date, changes will not be possible. If you cannot log in to your dashboard, please contact us with your full name, booking ID and the email address you registered with and we’ll be in touch. 

Do you have a T-shirt opt-out policy?

As part of our sustainability goals, for all London Marathon Events in 2025 and going forward, you’ll need to opt in to receive a T-shirt at most of our events as part of the online entry system. The 2025 Bath Half has partnered with Avon Needs Trees to offer participants who opt out of a T-shirt the option to plant a tree.

How do I enter the event? 

You can enter via Let’s Do This.  

Is there a minimum age for taking part in the GetPRO Bath Miles presented by Bath College? 

There is no minimum age requirement for those who would like to enter the Family Wave, but children must be under the ages of either 11 or 14 if they want to join the Under-11 or Under-14 waves.

What happens if I am unable to take part?

We’re sorry to hear that you're not able to take part this year but, good news, this is a free event so please sign up for 2026 when entries open! 

Will I receive a Participant Guide?

 Yes, all participants will be emailed an official Participant Guide several weeks before Event Day. Your Participant Guide will include all the information you need to know before, during and after your event.   

  

How do I let you know if I need to update my details?

If you cannot find this, please contact us with your full name, booking ID and the email address you registered with, and we’ll be in touch.

What time do the junior events start at the GetPRO Bath Miles presented by Bath College?

The junior events are at the following times:

  • 10:30 Under-11 Boys 
  • 10:45 Under-11 Girls 
  • 11:00 Under-14 Girls 
  • 11:15 Under-14 Boys 
If I am taking part in one of the Under-11 or Under-14 boys' or girls' events, can I register on the day?

No, entries close on Thursday 6 March for all waves in the event. 

How do I set up an online fundraising page?

The event is held in the grounds of Royal Victoria Park. It starts at 10:30 on Saturday 15 March with the Under-14 Boys one-mile event. The Family Wave starts at 11:30. 

What is the cut-off time to complete the GetPRO Bath Miles presented by Bath College? 

There is no cut-off time.   

  

Is there a bag-drop facility at the GetPRO Bath Miles presented by Bath College?  

Yes, a bag-drop facility is available.
