
History of the Vitality Westminster Mile
The Vitality Westminster Mile is held every year and invites participants to run, walk or jog one mile and enjoy a free Wellness Festival in Green Park.
The 2025 edition of the event takes place on Saturday 27 September.

Background
The Vitality Westminster Mile, held in St James’s Park, was launched by London Marathon Events in partnership with Westminster City Council in 2013 as a legacy event from the 2012 Olympic Games.
With waves for all ages and abilities, including families, adults and veterans, juniors, elite athletes and wheelchair users, the event has established itself as the UK’s premier festival of road mile running.
