TCS Mini London Marathon
A unique opportunity for children and young people to cross the iconic TCS London Marathon Finish Line and receive the coveted Mini Marathon medal.
The TCS Mini London Marathon invites schools to run, jog, walk, or wheel one mile or 2.6K in the heart of the capital. We don’t accept individual entries, only applications from schools, but please feel free to share this with your child's school.
When: Saturday 26 April 2025
Start Line: Horse Guards Parade
Finish Line: The Mall
Terrain: Road - fast and flat
There is a one-mile route for children in Reception to Year 7 and a 2.6K route for those in Years 4 to 12 who can go a bit further.
The event is free to enter and our title partner, TCS, gives schools £10 for every pupil who finishes the event
Schools across the UK can take part. A member of staff will need to enter the ballot in 2025 for a chance to secure places in the two distances

Message from our partner, WWF-UK
WWF-UK is excited to partner with this year's TCS Mini London Marathon. Engaging our youngest generations in nature has never been more important and schools can play a key role in addressing climate change and nature loss, while inspiring and equipping the next generation to be responsible stewards of our planet. We want to inspire and equip pupils to care for our beautiful planet and we’re asking for your help.
Exercising in nature is good for both physical and mental wellbeing, so why not use your Mini London Marathon to help us achieve our mission to build a brighter future for both people and nature. Run a wild mile, engage with nature before, during and after the event and take action for nature in your local community.
